weekend visit to grandma's

On Sunday morning I would awake to the smell of Salt fish cooking in the kitchen for breakfast, at noon my father would collect me and we would walk to my maternal grandmother flat in Byles Street my father would then go for his sunday pint with my maternal grandfather whilst my mother and grandmother cooked sunday dinner usually roast leg of lamb potatoes veg and gravy,for tea she would open a tin of John West salmon with a salad, bread and butter,followed by tinned fruit cocktail and evaporated milk.At 8pm we would get the 82 bus from Park Road to the Pier Head connect with 79 bus to return to Lee Park
