As a young 15 year old who could not read I was working in the Odeon Crosby Liverpool as a junior projectionist. In the afternon we were showing the Thunderbirds film that was a childrens puppet movie. In the evening we were showing the James Bond film Thunderball.

One night I  did not read the tab on the spool of film correctly and I put on the second reel of the Thunderbirds film instead of the last film of the  James Bond film Thunderball.

What we had was James just about to mount the Bond girl followed by Parker the driver for lady P bouncing on the screen looking for her handbag.

This did not go down well with the senior projectionist who had left me in charge but was of great enjoyment to everybody else.
